A hand-held manual device intended for use to grasp a suture needle when pushing/pulling the needle and attached suture through tissue during suturing and wound closure. This Needle Holder features a Tungsten Carbide jaw insert which is a hard and wear-resistant material, making it ideal for gripping and manipulating needles during surgery. It’s anti-slip properties support a secure hold on the suture needle, which is critical for precise suturing. Scissor blades incorporated in some types of needle holder are intended for the cutting of suture filament.
